Abstrakt
In this paper the economical importance of the forest soil cover products (fruits, mushrooms and herbs) is revealed on the basis of available literature. The base of non-wood forest products growing in the lower forest layers, rules of its collection according to nature protection regulations and its purchase and export scale were described. Free access of society to the forest in recreational purposes with its positive and negative effects on forest environment were analysed.
