Abstrakt

29 selected, maternal plus trees of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), which represent 8 Polish provenances: Miłomłyn, Ruciane, Supraśl, Spała, Bolewice, Gubin, Rychtal and Janów Lubelski growing on two experimental areas: Miłomłyn and Sękocin were genetically checked by an analysis of progeny (from open pollination – half sibs). The data obtained from measurement of 15 morphological and anatomical traits of needles were the basis for using one- and two-factor analysis of variance. The analysis of variance allowed to distinguish the variability of progeny, environment, and interaction between progeny and environment. The heritability of the needles traits was calculated separately for progeny and provenances. The diverse participation of genetic variability in phenotypic variability was ascertained, what means that the heritability of traits is differential.
